What we liked
- + Folds to a 7.7 inch deep cabinet, so the work area disappears when you are done.
- + Desktop is listed for up to 110 lbs on 0.6 inch MDF panels with a top-to-bottom support structure.
- + Six upper compartments and three lower shelves add storage, and the front doubles as a chalkboard.
Trade-offs
- - It is a tall cabinet style unit at 38.5 by 20 by 60.25 inches, a bigger install than a simple drop-leaf shelf.
- - Made of MDF, and it costs more than basic bracket-style fold-down desks.
