Aelfox Memory Foam Keyboard Wrist Rest & Mouse Wrist Rest (Gray) Review (2026)

Who this wrist rest set is meant for

This set targets desk workers who want cushioned support under both the keyboard and the mouse hand, rather than just one accessory, since Aelfox sells the keyboard rest and mouse rest together as a matched pair according to the product listing. The gray colorway is aimed at people who find all-black desk accessories too heavy looking for a bright or minimalist office setup and want something softer visually. It suits anyone typing for long stretches who notices wrist or forearm fatigue on a bare desk edge, whether at home or in an office, and is a simple, low-cost way to add support to an existing keyboard and mouse rather than replacing them.

Materials and design explained in plain English

Both pieces are filled with memory foam and wrapped in a soft, elastic fabric described by the manufacturer as sweat and heat absorbent, intended to stay comfortable during long typing sessions rather than feeling sticky. A non-slip rubber base on the underside is meant to keep the rest from sliding around on a desk during regular use. The set includes two separate pieces, a longer rest sized for a keyboard and a shorter one sized for a mouse, so both hands get the same type of support rather than only the typing hand. The listing also describes the cover as hand washable, which matters over time since fabric wrist rests pick up oils and dust from regular skin contact.

What using a matched keyboard and mouse rest is like

Day to day, having both a keyboard rest and a mouse rest from the same set means consistent height and firmness under each hand, avoiding the mismatch that happens when only the keyboard gets a rest and the mouse hand rests directly on a hard desk edge. Memory foam softens under pressure and slowly returns to shape, which feels different from a firmer gel rest, favoring people who prefer a plush contact point over a denser one. Because the fabric cover is washable, general upkeep is straightforward compared with rests that cannot be cleaned beyond wiping down. The gray color is a practical choice for visibility of dust and light stains sooner than black, so it may need cleaning more often to keep looking fresh.

How it compares with other wrist rest options

Against a single all-black memory foam wrist rest sold without a matching mouse pad, this Aelfox set has the advantage of covering both hands from one purchase and matching visually. Compared with a gel-filled wrist rest set, which tends to feel cooler and slightly denser underhand, this memory foam version will feel softer and warmer over a long session, a difference that comes down to personal preference rather than one being objectively better. A rest with a rigid rubber non-slip base similar to competing memory foam sets should behave similarly in terms of staying put on a smooth desk surface, though exact grip performance depends on the desk material.

Verdict and who should choose a different rest

This set is a solid pick for anyone who wants matched, washable memory foam support under both the keyboard and mouse hand and prefers a lighter gray look over black. It is not the best choice for anyone who wants a firmer, cooler gel rest, or for very messy desks where a lighter fabric color will show marks faster and need more frequent cleaning. Buyers who only need support for one hand, or who want a rest built into a larger desk mat, should look at single-piece or all-in-one options instead.
